Speaker of the state Duma Vyacheslav Volodin has declared that foreign nationals, including Ukrainian politicians, will be responsible for calling for the alienation of Russian territory. This writes the “Rossiyskaya Gazeta”.

As reported by “the Rambler”, earlier the President of Russia Vladimir Putin proposed to make the Constitution a number of changes. One of them includes a ban on the alienation of Russian territory. Changes in the organic law on the voting results approved 77,92% of Russians opposed of 21.27%.

Today during the consideration of the first reading of the bill equating the alienation of territory to extremism the speaker of the state Duma Vyacheslav Volodin has noted that there is accountability, including for foreign politicians.

“For U.S. politicians, who dreamed of our country too has a responsibility. If you arrive in our country they can be arrested, and demand their extradition here,” he explained.

Volodin also specifically warned the Ukrainian politicians to make statements about the return of the Crimea.

“the Statements in relation to the Crimea, which they will do will entail punishment under the laws of the Russian Federation. We can demand their extradition to our country,” – said the MP.

The bill, which proposes to amend the Federal law “On countering extremist activities”, prescribes penalties for the violation of the territorial integrity of the Russian Federation up to ten years of imprisonment, and calls for exclusion areas – up to four years.
