A 13-year-old boy was intercepted, threatened and beaten by a group of teenagers. The crime in Mönchengladbach was filmed and distributed by the perpetrators themselves.
A 13-year-old student from Mönchengladbach, who suffers from ADHD, was the victim of a frightening act of violence, as the “Rheinische Post” reports. At a bus stop, the boy was initially surrounded by a group of young people, threatened and asked to hand over valuables. When he declared that he had nothing with him, the two-hour ordeal began.
The young people, aged between twelve and 17, forced the 13-year-old to accompany them to another bus stop and then onto a bus. On the way he was repeatedly harassed and threatened. The boy was also beaten after he stopped once.
When they got out and went into a forest, the situation escalated further. The youth group apparently beat him up, and one of them is said to have even filmed the violent act. It was only when an employee of a nearby tire shop became aware of the incident and intervened that the young people let go of him.
While the recorded images of the violent act are already circulating, the victim’s parents have filed a complaint and handed the video over to the criminal police. Two of the perpetrators are already known to the police. The 13-year-old, on the other hand, had to spend three days in the hospital with a concussion and blunt abdominal trauma. “Something has to happen,” demand the young person’s parents and the mother explains: “He definitely doesn’t want to take the bus anymore. Now he’s totally scared.”
