Four of six passengers in a car were killed in a serious traffic accident in Austria. The other two were critically injured, police reported on Friday.

According to reports, the car with Swedish license plates drove through a roundabout without braking and then overturned several times. It came to rest on its roof in a forest. Five of the six occupants were thrown from the car, according to the police.

The group was on its way to Vienna on Thursday. The accident happened near St. Egyden, around 60 kilometers southwest of the capital. According to police, rescue workers could only confirm that four men were dead at the scene of the accident.
