the US President Donald trump said that he will sign before the end of the week the Executive decree providing for up to 10 years imprisonment for the desecration of monuments. The American leader has promised that it will be “very powerful” document.

Now, according to trump, U.S. law contains stringent provisions, allowing to punish for vandalism, however the new decree they shall be gathered together, writes TASS. The White house said that a lot of people have been arrested in connection with similar incidents. In addition, the FBI has investigated hundreds of people across the country over the desecration of monuments, statues and buildings.

trump said that allowed to arrest anyone destroying Federal property of the United States. He recalled that his order actually operates retroactively and may apply with respect to already committed acts of vandalism.
