The Ukrainian city was left without an ambulance due to coronavirus

The city of Mukachevo in the Transcarpathian region of Ukraine temporarily left without an ambulance due to pandemic coronavirus. On Monday, April 27, according to the publication “Facts”.

In Mukachevo city Council said that 25 doctors have tested for COVID-19, in 16 of them the diagnosis was confirmed. Workers ambulance was sent to the isolation, in the near future they will have PCR testing.

“Until you know the results of the research, the ambulance station was temporarily shut down, the leadership of the Transcarpathian territorial centre of emergency medical aid requested to provide urgent medical care to local residents”, — stressed in the city Council.

Earlier, the mayor of the Ukrainian city of Ivano-Frankivsk Ruslan Martsinko said about overcrowded hospitals due to pandemic coronavirus.

According to recent data, in Ukraine, the coronavirus has infected 8617 people, 209 patients died. Thus every fifth infected with the coronavirus was a medical professional.
