Attorney for the Eastern district of new York Richard Donohue accepted the proposal of the Minister of justice of the United States William Barr to move to another position and work in the Prosecutor General of the country on July 13. This was reported on Friday by Bloomberg citing the press-service of Prosecutor’s office of the Eastern district of new York.
According to the Agency, the head of the Ministry of justice in February chose Donohue, to oversee all investigations involving Ukraine and also the personal lawyer of the President of the United States Rudolph Giuliani.
In June, Barr was released from his position of the Prosecutor of the southern district of new York Jeffrey Berman. Berman, who was involved in the case of assistants Rudolph Giuliani, on his Twitter page announced that he had been without notice dismissed the United States attorney and learned about the decision from news releases.

Berman led the case of Giuliani partners, the Lion of Parnassus, Igor Fruman, Andrei Kukushkin and David Correia. According to prosecutors of the southern district of new York, they violated laws that prohibit to attract foreign funds to Finance election campaigns in the United States. In addition, they allegedly acted as straw men in the framework of the lobbying campaign. Parnassus and Romana I suspect in an attempt to achieve the resignation of Marie Yovanovitch from the post of the us Ambassador in Kiev in the interests of a Ukrainian official.
Giuliani was at the center of media attention after being in Washington in September of 2019 began a major scandal because of allegations of providing trump during the telephone conversation, put pressure on Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky in order to encourage Kiev to help the head of the Washington administration to be re-elected for a second term this year. It was suggested that the American leader with the assistance of Giuliani sought from their Ukrainian colleagues investigate the actions of the son of the former Vice-President of the USA Joseph Biden in exchange for the provision Kiev financial and military assistance. The house of representatives controlled by the Democratic party, declared on the basis of such suspicions about launching impeachment proceedings against the Republican trump, who eventually was acquitted.
Biden is now the only competitor to trump in the upcoming November US presidential elections.
