The widow of the famous artist Nikolai Slichenko, actress Tamilla Agamirova died at the age of 94. According to Moskovsky Komsomolets, the artist died at her home in the village of Nikolina Gora on Tuesday, August 31.

The cause of death is not specified. The date of the farewell to the People’s Artist will be known later.

Agamirova was born on May 21, 1928 in Baku. In 1951, she graduated from the Baku Theater Institute, and since 1952 she has played in the Roman Theater. Over the years, she has performed more than 50 roles in it, and for performing her first role on the stage of the theater in the play “Stubborn Hearts”, she was nominated for the Stalin Prize.

Tamilla Agamirova is known to the audience for the films “Don Quixote”, “The Unconquered Battalion”, “The Real Friend”, “Her Big Heart” and others.

Agamirova got together with Nikolai Slichenko, the artistic director of the Roman Theater, after his divorce from his first wife, Setara Kazymova, who also played in the theater.

Recall that in May 2021, 86-year-old Slichenko was admitted to the hospital due to lung problems. On July 2, the honored artist died. Thus, the spouse survived her husband by only two months.
