“on may 1, our citizens are completely free to transfer funds in quick payments in the amount of 100 thousand rubles per month. We are talking about transfers via mobile phone number each other or between own accounts in different banks — participants of System of payments”, — said the Director of the national payment system Department, Central Bank Alla Bakina.
the Central Bank analyzed the translations of the Russians and came to the conclusion that the amount of 100 thousand rubles per month covers all the basic needs of citizens. “We analyzed the transfers, which are implemented in the system and saw that 100 thousand rubles — this is the amount that covers the basic needs of citizens in the implementation of remittances to their relatives, while the repayment of the loans in different banks or remittance of salaries to their accounts in another Bank”, — said Bakin.
If the amount of transactions per month exceeds 100 thousand rubles, the Bank’s Commission will not exceed 0.5% of the amount transferred, the maximum — 1.5 million rubles.
Russian banks have time to prepare for the restrictions on tariffs in the System of quick payments and cancelled the Commission for transfers in an amount up to 100 thousand rubles. In some of the largest the participating banks SBP, such as alpha Bank VTB, “Tinkoff Bank” and others, the service remained free.
“We had all the necessary changes, and from April 30 transfers through SBP in the amount of 100 thousand rubles per month will be free. More than 100 thousand rubles, the Commission will be 0.5%, but not more than 1.5 thousand rubles,” — said TASS in press service Raiffeisenbank.
PSB, in turn, announced the abolition of the Commission.

The Bank’s clients — individuals will be free to translate each other money from the account debit card through the fast, secure and without any restrictions on the number and amount of transfers. The grace period will last for two months — until July 1, 2020,” — said in a statement.
