Minister of foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov during a round table with representatives of Fund of public diplomacy name A. M. Gorchakov said that Moscow does not exclude the fact that the US has taken the decision to withdraw from the Treaty on open skies.
“Experts who follow the situation believe that in Washington, the decision has been made. We believe that in these estimates there is significant truth to it. We are the same conclusions about do, based on our contacts with the Americans, with the other members of NATO and parties to the Treaty on open skies,” said the Minister.
Recall that in October last year, the American press wrote that the President of the United States Donald trump signed a document which allegedly sets out the intention of the us administration to withdraw from the Treaty on open skies. While Washington’s intention to leave the agreement were previously reported.
