MOSCOW, 21 APR – RIA Novosti. The pirates left the territorial waters of Benin along with eight hostages, including three Russians, have informed RIA of news in Embassy of Russia in Benin and Togo.
Earlier it was reported that on 19 April the container ship Tommi Ritscher, standing at the roadstead in the port of Cotonou had been attacked by pirates.
“To date, the pirates left the territorial waters of Benin along with eight hostages. Unfortunately, among them there are three citizens of Russia”, – said the Agency interlocutor. According to him, the Embassy does not have information on the status of the captured Russians.
