The North Korean authorities have denied the statement trump about receiving a letter from Kim Jong UN

TASS, April 19. The Minister of foreign Affairs of the DPRK Lee Seon Gwon on Sunday said that the head of the country Kim Jong-UN sent a letter to the President of the United States Donald Trump, previously told the American leader. This was reported by the KCNA.

“Unknown, did the US President the previous message, but our leader didn’t send any letters to the President of the United States,” — said the Minister of foreign Affairs of the DPRK.

on Saturday during a briefing at the White house trump announced that he had received “a nice letter” from Kim Jong-UN. The us leader also mentioned that he had “good relations” with the DPRK leader.

In June 2018, Singapore hosted the first ever meeting of the U.S. and the DPRK on the highest level, the results of which was adopted a joint document. Pyongyang then took commitments on denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula in exchange for security guarantees from Washington.
