The Irish Parliament elected a new Prime Minister. They will become the representative of the liberal party, “the Fianna Foyle” Michel Martin.

"the election of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Ireland is the greatest honor. I feel a great burden of responsibility and pledge to work day and night with his colleagues in the government to realize the great potential of our nation", — quotes it Reuters.

For Martin voted 93 member of Parliament, and 63 voted against it. However, after 2.5 years it will replace on this post Leo Varadkar. This decision was spelled out in the framework of the inter-party agreement.

As previously advised, the two largest parties in Ireland received almost the same number of seats in the parliamentary elections, agreed with the “green” on the rotation at the head of the government.
