From December 12 to December 18, the capital will host the final action of this year “Moscow Museum Week”. This was stated by the deputy mayor of the city Natalia Sergunina.

She said that since the beginning of the year, over 1.2 million people have taken part in the action.

"This time one of the largest expositions is dedicated to the estate life of Russia centuries ago: visitors will be introduced to the objects of art of that time – paintings and porcelain collections that have been preserved in the Ostankino Estate Museum. And in the Pushkin State Museum, everyone can visit the exhibition of paintings,” Sergunina added.

To the panorama Museum "The Battle of Borodino" it will be possible to get in for free on December 12, and to the museum-reserve “Tsaritsyno” – on December 14. Residents and guests of the city will be able to visit the State Darwin Museum, the State Pushkin Museum and the Marina Tsvetaeva House Museum for free. Earlier, Sergunina said that 120 sites will join the campaign “A day without turnstiles". The events will be held from December 8 to 10. The action will be attended, in particular, by a telecommunications company, a robotics laboratory, an architectural bureau, “Technograd” at VDNH and others.
