The metro station Pykhtino Kalininsko-Solntsevskaya line will draw in aviation — the ceiling will be decorated with lights in the form of turbines of the aircraft, and the escalator will soar model of the Tu-144. This was told the chief architect of Moscow, first Deputy Chairman of Moskomarkhitektura Sergei Kuznetsov on Tuesday, June 30.

Station Pykhtino will be opened on the territory of the settlement Vnukovo. It will be located on the South side of Borovskoye motorway, near the intersection with the street letchika gritsevtsa.

— In neighborhood, adjacent to Pykhtino, streets named in honour of Soviet pilots and aircraft, and this led the architects to specify the main themes of the station. Ceiling decorate light design in the form of cylinders of the turbines, and the slope of the escalator will be continued as well-the bell that day will fill the sunlight, — said Sergey Kuznetsov.

According to the press service of the Moscow architecture Committee, the platform will be length of 163 meters. On one of the walls will be placed chronological feed with the drawings of Soviet aircraft from the screw ANT-3 to supersonic Tu-160. Another wall will have panoramic Windows.

On the floor and walls of the station will be used a light gray granite and aluminum panels, added the press service.
