The mayor of Moscow Sergey Sobyanin noted the growing popularity of the capital’s colleges. About this he wrote on his page in social network “Vkontakte”.

“In the admission to colleges. They are becoming more popular every year. Already at 15-16 years children can focus on obtaining a profession with high demand in the labor market,” wrote the mayor.

He said that the highest competition is held at the programming and graphic design – more than 10 people in the place. “Increasingly, students are interested in industrial professions: operator of machine tools with program management, manufacturing and maintenance of aircraft, automation of production”, – said Sobyanin.

The mayor also noted the quality of secondary education in the capital. “At last year’s world championship of professional skills WorldSkills Muscovites won six of 14 national medals. And in the Russian championship the Moscow team took the largest number of gold medals,” wrote the mayor.
