In Scotland, a man tried to commit suicide, but eventually ended up in the hospital, and doctors discovered he had cancer. Early diagnosis saved his life, writes the Mirror.

At the beginning of 2019 38-year-old Robert Allen has decided to settle scores with life for anxiety disorders and constant fatigue. The man had suffered, believing themselves to be a bad father because he did not have the strength to play with four year old son.

suicide Attempt failed: the wife of Robert Leslie managed to save him and take him to the hospital. Doctors took the man a blood test and found kidney cancer at an early stage. It was successfully operated – removed a 6 cm tumor.

After that, Allen promised to do their physical and mental health.

“After the surgery, I began to realize the impact that has had on my disease. I was able to say, “Okay, it’s not that I don’t love my son and don’t want to play with him.” I stopped blaming myself – said Allen. – I think that I coped with mental illness and cancer is the best thing I’ve done in my life.”

February 4 all over the world marked the cancer Day. The CPS told about ways to prevent cancer. The experts stressed that the most important preventive measures are the observance of a healthy lifestyle and regular screening.
