Russian Ministry of labor has proposed to allocate more than 1.5 trillion rubles for the provision of maternity capital in 2020-2022 years to allow expansion of the program for the first child and increasing the size of the payment on the second due to the order of the President of Russia Vladimir Putin, according to the draft amendments to the law “On the budget of the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation for 2020 and the planning period of 2021 and 2022”.
According to the document published on the portal of legal acts, initially, on payment of the parent capital laid in three years, more than 945 billion. The draft amendment involves increased funding to 428 billion roubles in 2020, 522 billion in 2021-m and 582 billion in 2022.
Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Tatyana Golikova said that the draft amendments on the extension of the maternity capital program will be submitted to the Duma before the end of the first quarter of 2020, reports TASS. According to her, amendments can be attached to the government bill, which proposes to build and reconstruct in the garden of a residential building with use of means of matkapital. The state Duma on 21 January adopted it in first reading.
