The lawyer of the family of the deceased in an accident with Mikhail Efremov Alexander Dobrovinsky suggested that the defense will fight for a suspended sentence for an actor. He told this in an interview with RT.
The lawyer was not surprised that Ephraim was charged under part 4 of article 264 of the criminal code (“Violation of traffic rules, entailed on imprudence death of the person”). According to Dobrovinsky, this is expected and logical.
“I’m Afraid the game began to receive a conditional sentence,” said the lawyer, expressing hope that the rejection of Ephraim fault “does not affect the outcome of the case.”
July 6 Ephraim was charged on the case about the accident in the center of Moscow as regards 4 articles 264 of the criminal code (“Violation of traffic rules, entailed on imprudence death of the person”). The maximum penalty is 12 years imprisonment.
The accident occurred on 8 June. Machine of Ephraim, who was in an alcohol intoxication, has left on an oncoming lane and crashed into a van whose driver, Sergey Zakharov, died in the hospital due to blood loss. The artist himself was not injured, he was sent under house arrest until August 9.
