Mass vaccination against influenza and SARS in Moscow will start on 1 September. Date called the mayor of the capital Sergey Sobyanin, RIA Novosti reported.

According to the mayor, in 2019 were vaccinated seven million Muscovites.

“this year, this amount is at least necessary to repeat and make it early because it still needs to be a period of time when the vaccine should work, so let’s start this from the 1st of September,” he said.

Sobyanin also noted that despite the active life of the city, the situation of coronavirus is stable, but do not relax.

On 14 August, Sobyanin said that in Moscow there is now a growing number of cases of SARS, influenza and mycoplasmal pneumonia, so the residents of the capital should be vaccinated against influenza. According to him, the development of disease in the severe stage the superposition of two infectious processes could end badly. Therefore, the mayor encouraged as early as possible and as much as possible to get vaccinated against influenza.
