Published the audio recording of conversation between President of Russia Vladimir Putin and the fifth President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko in April 2015. It is reported by Telegram-channel edition Strana.ua.

Putin and Poroshenko discussed economic problems of Donbass and spoke about the peacekeepers. The former President also gave recommendations on optimization of work of the Trilateral contact group in Minsk. Putin promised to convey these recommendations to the Russian foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.

The Russian leader during the meeting also asked Poroshenko, how is the situation in Ukraine. “Do it. The more — the easier it is,” answers the former Ukrainian President, and stresses that to build a “vertical” challenge. “But long queue for the post of President is not observed”, — said Poroshenko.

Putin noted that it is important that people trust. “Most importantly, key”, — said the Russian leader, in response, Poroshenko thanked him. “A hug. Goodbye, let’s,” concluded the conversation the President of Russia.

Earlier, Poroshenko remembered that he congratulated Putin on Russia Day in 2014, when it was a military conflict in the Donbass. It was noted that during the conversation, 12 June 2014, the former President of Ukraine informed Putin about his plan to resolve the situation in the South-East of Ukraine, and also congratulated him on the Day of Russia.

In February Poroshenko said that the night of talks with the Russian leader, German Chancellor Angela Merkel and then-French President Francois Hollande in 2015 was the worst in his life.
