Moscow will increase the maximum size of small volume purchases carried out on the city supplier portal. In accordance with the resolution signed by Sergei Sobyanin, from August 1, the maximum sizes will be increased:

— when purchasing goods — from 600 thousand to five million rubles;

— when ordering work and services — from 600 thousand to three million rubles.

The adopted decision will expand the opportunities of small and medium-sized businesses to participate in the implementation of the city order, as well as increase the efficiency of procurement for public needs.

The Moscow Supplier Portal was created in 2013 to automate and increase transparency of small volume purchases. Now the resource unites more than 300 thousand users from all over the country — more than 50 thousand customers and about 266 thousand suppliers, 90 percent of which are representatives of small and medium—sized businesses.

The catalog of unique goods, works and services on the portal includes more than 1.7 million units. More than 1.5 thousand contracts are concluded daily with an average price reduction of about 13 percent.

From January to May of this year, 234 thousand contracts were concluded with a total volume of 36.3 billion rubles. The share of Moscow customers exceeds 52 percent, the rest are state authorities and local governments of other regions of Russia, which use the capabilities of the supplier portal on the basis of agreements with the Government of Moscow.
