Russian swimmer Denis Tarasov won a silver medal at the Tokyo Paralympic Games in the 50-meter freestyle in the S9 class. In the final heat, the athlete swam the distance in 24.99 seconds. The first place was taken by the Italian Simone Barlaamu (24.71). The bronze medal went to American Jamal Hill (25,19). In total, the Russian national team has 14 gold, 8 silver and 21 bronze awards.
