Gorky Park invites young Muscovites to sports classes during school holidays. From June 1 to the end of August, competitions, trainings, master classes of famous athletes will be held here for schoolchildren and their parents.
The project “Sports holidays” of the Moscow center “Patriot.Sport” started work on Children’s Day. Since June 1, beach volleyball competitions of the school sports league have been held in the park. Teams of school and student clubs participate in them. The competition will last until the end of June and will be held daily from 12:00 to 17:00. You can join by submitting an application in the information service of the Patriot center.Sports”.
As part of the celebration of Children’s Day on June 4 and 5, open tournaments in beach volleyball and table tennis will be held in the park.
And throughout the summer, on weekdays, sections for five sports will work on the grounds of Gorky Park for children and adults: mini-football, beach volleyball, basketball, chess and table tennis. Training sessions will be held daily from 10:00 to 16:30.
A running club will start working for adults in the evenings. Muscovites will also be able to take part in the Gorky Park Cup in beach volleyball and table tennis.
Today, the park has all the conditions for sports: playgrounds for lawn and table tennis, several football fields, areas for playing beach volleyball, basketball and petanque. Among the novelties of this season are frisbee training and the Chinese game jianzi.

The portal will regularly display information about creative, educational and sports events organized by the Moscow Center “Patriot.Sports”. The current schedule of tournaments and the work of sections will be published on the Gorky Park website.
