After the surprising death of ex-US President Donald Trump’s first wife, her children are in mourning. Hours after her death, son Eric visited the New York apartment where his mother was found dead and spoke briefly. Daughter Ivanka also emphasized that her heart was broken.
She was considered a dazzling member of New York’s high society until the very end. Ivana and ex-husband Donald Trump (76) have been known as an unshakable power couple since their marriage in 1977 at the latest. A total of three children, Donald Trump Jr. (44), Ivanka (40) and Eric (38) crowned their love happiness at the time, which broke up in 1990. On Thursday (July 14th) Ivana died unexpectedly in her New York apartment at the age of 73.

The 38-year-old also dedicated a few touching lines to his mother Ivana Trump on Instagram – and at the same time spoke for his two siblings: “It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother Ivana Trump. Our mother was an incredible woman – a successful businesswoman, a world-class athlete, a radiant beauty, and a caring mother and friend. Ivana Trump was a survivor.”
Daughter Ivanka Trump also took to social media and published some heartbreaking lines in addition to a photo with her mother. She wrote: “My heart is broken after the passing of my mother. My mother was a brilliant, charming, passionate and wonderfully funny woman.”
The 40-year-old continues: “My mother showed me what strength and perseverance mean. She lived her life to the fullest – and never missed a chance to laugh and dance. I will miss her forever and will always carry her memory in my heart.”
