In 2022, the number of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Moscow increased by seven percent. This was announced by Sergei Sobyanin in his telegram channel.

The growth in the number of small and medium-sized enterprises is noted in several priority sectors of the economy: manufacturing (by 4.2 percent), scientific research and development (by 2.8 percent), as well as in the field of communications and information technology (by 3.4 percent).

“The number of small industries, scientific startups and IT companies is growing largely due to our regular support of business: we advise in business service centers, help with loans and preferential rates in the first year of companies’ operation, transfer projects from the start stage to development and scaling in accelerators, and more”, — the Mayor of Moscow wrote.
