Russian NHL player spoke about the alarming situation in new York because of the pandemic

the Russian goalkeeper of club of National hockey League (NHL) “new York Rangers” Igor Shesterkin told about life in the United States during a pandemic coronavirus. His words are on the website of the League.

“In new York the situation is alarming. I am now in Florida. Here we rented a small house because new York was the epicenter,” said Shesterkin. He added that initially was going to return to Russia during a pandemic, but it failed.

Hockey also noted that the quarantine conditions in Florida is milder than in new York. “There is nothing that you go out and someone will stop you from getting a ticket for lack of permit. You can safely move. We go to the store. Nothing special,” he said.

Season 2019/2020 in the NHL was interrupted due to pandemic coronavirus. In the regular championship of the League last matches were played on March 12.

Shesterkin plays in the NHL in 2020. He is the champion of the Olympic games in 2018 in a part of the Olympic athletes from Russia.
