The West fears the creation of a UN Security Council (UNSC) commission to investigate the activities of US biological laboratories on the territory of Ukraine. This opinion was expressed by the first deputy permanent representative of Russia to the UN Dmitry Polyansky, writes REN.TV.

He spoke at a meeting of the UN Security Council after the Security Council did not adopt a resolution of the Russian Federation. Russia and China voted for the adoption of the document, Great Britain, the USA and France voted against it, the rest abstained.

The UN reacted to Russia’s resolution on biological activity in Ukraine

Polyansky believes that the West “sabotaged” the adoption of the resolution, as it is simply afraid of creating a commission that will have to analyze the materials submitted by Russia and investigate the activities of US biological laboratories in Ukraine.

The first deputy Permanent Representative of Russia to the UN pointed out that the West particularly objected to the fact that the commission for the investigation consisted of all the UN Security Council.

Polyansky believes that Western states are not satisfied with other forms of cooperation, since they prefer to independently establish the rules and procedure by which everyone else should act.

Earlier, Dmitry Polyansky said that Russia would continue its own investigation of the activities of US biological laboratories in Ukraine.
