The Russian Embassy has written to the Polish authorities a formal letter in connection with the desecration in Poland a monument to Marshal Konstantin Rokossovsky. It is reported by TASS with reference to press Secretary of the Embassy, Vladimir Alexandrov.
“a Formal letter of protest against the act of vandalism against the monument to Konstantin Rokossovsky was sent to the Ministry of culture and national heritage of Poland and the Ministry of foreign Affairs of the Republic,” he said.
Earlier in the West of Poland vandals stole the memorial cemetery in Legnica sculpture, Soviet and Polish Marshal Konstantin Rokossovsky, later she was found beheaded.
The Russian foreign Ministry has expressed outrage after an act of vandalism against the monument.
