Statement Europarlament about the need to introduce new anti-Russian sanctions because of the turmoil in Belarus is a signal which shows what they think of European policy, but do not say aloud, wrote in his Telegram-channel member of the Federation Council of the Russian Federation Alexei Pushkov. According to him, speculation about a possible “Russian intervention” there is no reason.

Earlier, as reported “the Rambler”, the Polish representatives in the European Parliament proposed to punish Russia by new sanctions for excessively rigid actions of Belarusian Riot policemen against their fellow citizens. The poles saw in the current situation in the Republic of signs, “the Russian intervention” and “annexation”.

“the Obvious artificiality of the next call”, – commented on the initiative of the representatives of Poland, the Russian Senator Alexey Pushkov (spelling and punctuation of the author hereinafter saved – approx. ed.).

According to him, such statements are characteristic for Scandinavian and Eastern European politicians, because neither Washington, nor in Brussels, the threat of annexation of Belarus and the features of the “Russian intervention” do not see.

“the meaning of the statement is to make "warning shot" and send a signal to Russia”, – said the member of the Federation Council.

He added that in this way the poles showed what you really think European officials, but did not say aloud. In addition, in his opinion, “another propaganda attack” aims to support “anti-Russian tone in European political platforms”.
