the Lawyer Konstantin Trapaidze in conversation with belonging to Gregory Berezkin RBC revealed details of the detention the senior investigator for particularly important cases of the Central apparatus of the Investigative Committee of Russia (TFR) Ruslan Miniahmetov.
He noted that the investigator was detained by field investigators of management “M” of the FSB, he tried to impute two episodes of receiving a bribe. “The search was on the job, because we believed that the crime may be linked to his professional activities,” said Trapaidze, adding that the convicted person is a citizen, in respect of which Miniahmetov led the investigation, testified about the presence of corruption.
the lawyer said that the amount, which was discussed, was officially seized during the investigation and are aimed at reparation for the corresponding sentence.
on 3 July it was reported that in Moscow employees of FSB and SKR have detained Ruslan Miniahmetov. The investigator was accused of receiving a bribe in especially large size. Criminal case under article 290 of the criminal code of Russian Federation (“bribe reception”) was filed personally by the Chairman of the TFR Alexander Bastrykin. Later, the Russian Prosecutor General’s office canceled the criminal case about a bribe in especially large size in relation to Miniahmetova.
