In the survey by the opinion research Institute Insa for FOCUS gains Söder in comparison to the previous week’s 28 points. With an approval value of a total of 156 points (on a scale up to 300) holds the CSU party boss is unchanged to the previous week, the first place in the ranking of 22 top German politicians. It is the highest increase that has been measured since the beginning of the survey in January 2019 ever. At the same time, the result marked a new record: Not a politician that has been achieved a higher consent value as Söder.

The other winners of the week German Chancellor Angela Merkel (CDU, +12) and Federal Minister of health, Jens Spahn (+6). Down it goes, however, for the SPD-party leader Norbert Walter-Borjans (-4) and Saskia esque (-4).
