Russian President Vladimir Putin sent a congratulatory message to Benjamin Netanyahu, who took office as Prime Minister of Israel for a new term.

“we Highly appreciate the existing relationship between us, enabling thorough, business-to discuss any, including the most complicated issues on the bilateral and international agenda,” — said the Russian leader.

He expressed the hope that the new government will continue the line “to develop friendly relations and mutually beneficial cooperation” between Russia and Israel.

On 17 may, the majority of the members of the Knesset voted for the composition of 35 the government of Israel.
