NOVO-OGARYOVO, April 20. /TASS/. , Russian President Vladimir Putin has instructed the head of Ministry of health Michael Murashko to study the acceleration of registration of the vaccine against coronavirus and the import of equipment for the production of medicines. About it the speech went at the meeting on sanitary-epidemiological situation in Russia.
“Mikhail Albertovich, you have everything that is suggested by Aleksandr Leonidovich (Gunzburg, Director of the National research centre of epidemiology and Microbiology named after N. F. Gamalei — approx. TASS), to organize”, — said the President of the experts who expressed their opinion about the production of vaccines against coronavirus.
“This concerns the acceleration of licensing procedures, is meant the line of Roszdrav, and for all other administrative [procedures], including customs, on the importation of the necessary equipment,” — said Putin.
“overall, just prepare your suggestions, synthesize them, and as soon as possible I send,” asked Putin to the spine.
the Head of state assured that government would provide all necessary support. “We will do everything possible to expedite all necessary administrative procedures and, if necessary, and I understand that there is such a need — additional resources will increase”, — concluded Putin.
Putin supported the idea to provide physicians a vaccine against coronavirus, when it will appear. At the meeting the Deputy chief off-staff specialist on infectious diseases of the Department of health in Moscow Elena Tsyganova asked the head of the state, when it will be developed an effective vaccine against the coronavirus, “in the first place to vaccinate medical personnel”.
“I think that goes without saying. First of all, health workers need to be protected because they are on the front, this is certainly so,” replied Putin.
