As the American family company Bissell announces on its website, there is currently a product recall for several cordless multi-surface wet-dry cleaners. The models were sold under the name “Cordless Multi-Surface Wet Dry Cleaner”. In the affected models, local overheating can occur in rare cases on some circuit boards for the battery management. This can pose a risk of overheating and fire. The devices should no longer be used.

The following Bissell vacuum cleaners are affected by the recall. The model numbers can be found on the back of the water tank of the wireless devices. There the number is listed in a large black bar on the product information label.

If you own a device that is affected by the recall, it must no longer be used. It should also be removed from the charging station immediately. Contact the manufacturer on 49 41022143005 Monday to Friday 09:00 – 18:00 or via the support page.

The manufacturer does not specify whether the devices can also be returned to the dealer.
