Even if it is repeatedly traded as a secret trick, toothpaste does not belong on the skin. Although it can dry out pimples in the short term, fluoride, menthol and sorbitol irritate the skin and could even increase inflammation. The strong drying effect creates a crust, the pores cannot open and secrete sebum and bacteria.
