A 23-year-old was critically injured by a group of unknown people near Recklinghausen. The police are hoping for witnesses.
A young man was critically injured by several attackers in the city park in Oer-Erkenschwick on Friday. A witness alerted the police, who found the 23-year-old with several serious injuries to his upper body, the police reported on Saturday. They were probably inflicted on him with a “dangerous tool”.
A spokeswoman said that no precise information was initially given about the murder weapon. The perpetrators are said to have been several men; their identities were still unclear a day after the violent act.
