the Polish Embassy sent to the foreign Ministry a letter with a denial of information about corruption proposal from Russian officials. The reason for an official apology were the accusations in the address of the head of the Rosselkhoznadzor Sergey Dankvert in the alleged extortion of bribes from the Polish company “Mlekovita”, which appeared last week in the media.

“MK” questioned the veracity of the charges. Following this guide “Mlekovita” sent a letter to Dankvert, where the declared innocence, and expressed willingness to participate in the investigation.

Sergey Dankvert has filed a police report on defamation after publishing accusations against him. This was announced by adviser to the head of the Rosselkhoznadzor Julia Melano.

Dankvert has headed the Agency since its inception in 2004. Since the introduction of the food embargo in 2014 the import of products from Poland to Russia was terminated.
