Twelve members of the outlawed Turkey Kurdistan workers ‘ party (PKK) were neutralized during the operation of the Turkish army after the attack by the PKK, in which one Turkish soldier was killed and three others were injured, reported the Ministry of defense of the Republic.

After resume in Turkey in July 2015 the armed conflict with the PKK in attacks by Kurdish rebels killed more than 900 military and police and nearly 500 civilians. According to the Ministry of defence of Turkey, during this period, security forces neutralized more than 10 thousand members of the PKK. In Northern Iraq are Kurdish base units, against which the Turkish armed forces carried out air and ground operations.
