North Korean authorities accused the U.S. of damaging its image: in Pyongyang believe that the allegations of cyber attacks — not that other as attempt to discredit the North Korean government. This is with reference to the DPRK foreign Ministry reported by Reuters.
“We want to reiterate that our country has nothing to do with the so-called "cyber" which tell US,” said the diplomats.
In a statement, the Ministry stressed that the US goal is to “smear the reputation” of North Korea. Her are accusations of financing terrorism and money laundering.
It is reported that the FBI and several Federal agencies of the United States earlier in may, issued a warning about the threat of North Korean hackers. Those allegedly involved in the theft of personal data, digital currencies and robbed of large Western banks. The Department of justice has accused the state Bank of North Korea to bypass us sanctions and opened a criminal case against 28 citizens of the DPRK.
