After a traffic accident on the A7 north of Göttingen, the motorway in the direction of Hanover has been completely closed.
The reason for this is extensive clearance and rescue measures after the accident between the Northeim-West and Northeim-Nord junctions, as the police announced on Tuesday morning. Several vehicles are said to have been involved. How the accident happened and whether there were any injuries initially remained unclear. The Northeim district fire department warned of aquaplaning on the roads on platform X in connection with the accident.
