“History teaches us how important it is to maintain unity in the face of such global threats. Aware of its responsibility, Russia and China consistently adhere to the principles of international solidarity and reject any attempts to use the pandemic to settle political scores, especially in hindsight,” said Naryshkin at the Russian-Chinese teleconference, dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Victory in the great Patriotic war.

He also noted that to sow discord in a period when millions of people around the world face trouble, immoral. It is the trust and mutual support can help overcome the effects of the pandemic and to maintain stability in the world, the Director of the SVR.

Naryshkin expressed hope that the victory over coronavirus, “we without a doubt obsessed”, as the victory over fascism at the time, will help mankind to make the right conclusions and avoid a similar crisis in the future.
