In Russia, a government Commission on the Russian language, which will develop the concept of state language policy, said Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin at the Cabinet meeting.
He recalled that the corresponding instruction was given by President Vladimir Putin.

It is planned that the Commission will formulate uniform requirements for dictionaries, grammar and reference books containing norms of modern Russian literary language, including conduct examination of the rules of spelling and punctuation.
As noted by the head of the government, an important part of the work will be the question of raising the level of training.
Earlier, Putin called the Russian language the basis of national identity.
