Jimmy Butler pulls off one of the best games of his career as his Miami Heat are about to be eliminated in the NBA playoffs. At 111-103 in Boston, Butler towers and forces a Game 7 to enter the NBA Finals. After the game, he thanked one of the greats of his club.

Miami Heat superstar Jimmy Butler was on fire in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Finals against the Boston Celtics, recording 47 points, nine rebounds, eight assists and four steals. Butler put on one of the best performances of his career.

Despite suffering from a knee injury, Butler led Miami to victory and a crucial Game 7 in their Eastern Conference Finals series against the Boston Celtics.

Butler revealed after the game that Miami Heat legend Dwyane Wade inspired his 47-point performance. On the day of the game, Wade called Jimmy for a few words.

“I got a call and text from Dwyane Wade today and he said I’ll make it. The knee is injured, but nobody cares. Get out there and keep building your legacy, he told me. It means a lot to me and thank you D-Wade.”
