The tough transfer poker around Bayern Munich’s Robert Lewandowski is apparently turning into the home straight. Since Friday morning, there have been growing signals that the world footballer is about to move to FC Barcelona.

“Basta” is about to become invalid: So far, those responsible at FC Bayern have been stubborn and referred to the cracking “Basta” of the CEO Oliver Kahn (53). But there is one appointment that no one can avoid in this poker game: the team presentation in the Allianz Arena on Saturday. Nobody can want Robert Lewandowski (33) to be forced to take part there. Messages arriving through Friday indicate a very timely sale of the Pole to Barcelona.

Short, compact, clear

Clubs apparently communicate: First, national and international media reported that FC Barcelona’s final offer for Lewandowski would arrive on Friday and should meet Munich’s expectations – a clear indication of movement. One imagines a fixed sum of 50 to 55 million euros. “Sky” then reported “that both clubs finally want to find a solution in the next few hours so that Lewandowski can, at best, switch to the Catalans this weekend”. Before that there was not even contact because Bayern always blocked.

No team presentation and no USA trip for Lewandowski: And the development reported by ” Sportbuzzer ” fits in very well: Lewandowski should not be present at the team presentation on Saturday, nor at the club’s USA trip from Monday. The website writes: “On Friday a fourth offer from the Catalans for the strikers at Bayern arrived, which the German record champions find acceptable.” According to the Polish online medium “Meczyki.pl” “the change is only a question of Formalities”, as “Transfermarkt.de” writes.
