The speaker of the Federation Council Valentina Matviyenko during a telephone conversation congratulated the first President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev on his upcoming 80th birthday. This was reported in the Sunday press service of the Nazarbayev.
"Valentina Matvienko, congratulated the President [leader of the nation Nursultan Nazarbayev] with the upcoming anniversary of his birthday, noting that the first President enjoys well-deserved reputation among Kazakhstanis and abroad as an experienced and visionary politician, a real leader of his country", – stated in the message.
During the conversation, Nazarbayev thanked Matviyenko for the warm wishes, stressing the importance of Interparliamentary relations between Kazakhstan and Russia.
6 Jul Nursultan Nazarbayev will be 80 years old. In Kazakhstan on 6 July is also celebrated as a public holiday, the Day of the capital. Nazarbayev, has led Kazakhstan for nearly three decades, March 19, 2019 has resigned of the head of state. However, he retained the posts of Chairman of the security Council of the Republic, the ruling party "Nur Otan" ("Light of the Fatherland"), a member of the constitutional Council, and in may last year, was given the status of honorary Senator.
