Dina Lohan pleaded guilty to drunk driving in January.

Lindsay Lohan’s mother Dina Lohan was sentenced on Friday to 18 days imprisonment and five years probation. She was convicted of driving while intoxicated. January 2020.

According to the Nassau County DA’s office, the elder Lohan pleaded guilty to the felony that caused her crash into another car in Massapequa (New York).

Additionally, the 59-year old must pay various surcharges. She also has to participate in DWI training programs while she is incarcerated or on probation. Her license will be suspended for 18 months. She must also install an ignition interlock device in her car during probation.

Lohan was operating on a suspended license at the time of the accident. She failed to stop her car after she rear-ended another vehicle and continued driving. Lohan was followed by the other driver for 10 minutes, until she was stopped by Merrick police officers and taken into custody.

Court documents show that Lohan was stopped by a police officer. He said she smelled of alcohol and had watery eyes when she got behind the wheel.

Lohan was also arrested in 2013 for speeding and aggravated drinking driving. Lohan pleaded guilty and her license was revoked for one year. She was then asked to take part in anti-drunken driving classes as well as community service.
