In Qatar the mosque will be closed during Ramadan

DOHA, April 22 – RIA Novosti. The Ministry of Awqaf (Islamic religious property) and Islam Qatar announced Wednesday that mosques in the Emirate will remain closed for the duration of the Muslim fasting month of Ramadan, which begins in most countries in the Middle East on 24 April, reported QNA.

“the Ministry announces extension of closing of mosques and the prohibition on committing collective prayers, and Friday prayer services as long as will protect the safety of worshippers in the framework of the preventive measures taken by the government to limit the spread of the coronavirus,” said the Ministry.
