A group of young people is said to have attacked two men in Magdeburg in Saxony-Anhalt, one of whom died. The victim died from life-threatening injuries, police said on Wednesday.

The police then investigated an attempted homicide. The 33-year-old ultimately succumbed to his injuries on Tuesday. An autopsy will determine the exact cause of death. Two 14-year-olds and a 16-year-old are considered suspects. They have already been questioned several times.
