The government of India to extend the lockdown, imposed because of the pandemic coronavirus, duration and rules to be announced, said Prime Minister Narendra modi.

"Experts say the coronavirus remains here. But we can’t afford to have our lives controlled by the coronavirus. We put the masks on and will adhere to social distance, but not abandon our dreams. The fourth phase of isolation will have different rules, and we will build on the proposals by States (India). The new measures will be announced may 18," said modi during his fifth appeal to the Indians since the start of the pandemic coronavirus.
