BAKU, 24 APR – RIA Novosti. The interior Ministry announced the arrest of Bulgarian citizens suspected of committing cyber crimes against the Azerbaijani banking sector.
According to the press service, “the citizens of Bulgaria said that after receiving information about the map they had intended to transfer money from accounts to accounts opened on the basis of forged documents in foreign banks together with other members of organized criminal groups in European countries”.
“However thanks to the professionalism of the staff of Management on fight against organized crime of the interior Ministry crime managed to prevent. According to the facts police initiated a criminal case under article 272.3, 177.2.3-1 and 177.2.1 of the criminal code (theft committed by a group of persons using electronic storage media and information technologies, illegal acquisition of computer data), against Stoychev Mladenov and the measure of restraint in form of arrest,” – said the interior Ministry of Azerbaijan.
